R.D. Clarke and Cheryl Schatz use the same IP Address

Below is the e-mail with its history that shows how Shaw high speed Internet service has stated that the IP address used by both R.D. Clarke and Cheryl Schatz are "specific to one person". This means that R.D. Clarke and Cheryl Schatz use the same computer.  But, R.D. Clarke claims he does not know who Cheryl does not know who Cheryl is. Is this a blatant lie?

Sorry to bother you again but your answer was not completely understood or clear enough. I understand that each customer gets a separate IP address. Thank you.

The IP address reported on our forum for a person of 24.67.215.128 shaw cable, is then the IP of an individual to a shaw cable customer or is this IP to a router/hub of some sort?   We want to be very clear before banning an IP that we are only banning one person and not a hub/router for shaw cable.

Can you tell us yes or no, is the IP number given and we can be confident that the IP address 24.67.215.128 is to one computer/customer only and not a hub?

Hello, Need information concerning shaw cable internet IP addresses. We run a very large discussion forum and web based ministry in the USA. Recently we have had difficulties with users from shawcable Canada and harassment, through emails and web postings. We seem to have difficulties with persons using the IP address: 24.67.215.128 We do have at least two individuals claiming to be different names however they do have the same IP above. Do you give the same IP to different customers? Our question is that we would like to know if your service gives a different IP address to each user or is the IP address posting on our forum used by different homes, businesses before we would report the abuses?  Is the number above the individual private IP or simply a generic IP given to many? We want to be sure when reporting two individuals names harrassing us with the same IP, that they are in fact one person. Thank you for your time in this matter.
