Genetic Drift

Genetic Drift is the change in genetic information, over time, in a breeding population, that is a result of chance. Genetic drift can lead to the extinction of certain genes. It is also the variation in the concentration of certain genes the survivability, of which, can be affected by environmental pressures such as predation.
