Tsunami

tsunamiA tsunami is a giant oceantsunami wave that is generated by earthquakes or volcanic eruptions under the sea or at the sea’s boundary with the land.  Tsunami waves can travel at hundreds of miles an hour until they reach shallow water, and then the energy in the water causes the water level to rise and rush onshore.
