The Do's and Don't's of Hindu Evangelism

Do

1. Listen to Hindus as they explain their particular beliefs and practices.
2. Politely share stories from the Bible that illustrate God's love and forgiveness.
3. Emphasize the exclusive forgiveness found in Jesus through faith.
4. Be aware of Hindu misconceptions of Christianity.

Don't

1. Ask which caste a Hindu belongs to.
2. Assume all Hindus believe or practice the same things.
3. Make fun of Hindu practices or beliefs such as their polytheism, rituals, temple ceremonies, etc.
4. Invite a Hindu over for dinner and offer them meat or eat meat in front of them.
