Discussion Forum Moderators

The CARM web site has over 90 discussion boards and chat room located at http://forums.carm.org/vbb/forum.php. They are very busy and we are always looking for people to help moderate them. We already have several who do this and they are supervised by Diane Sellner who is very visible on the boards.

In order to become a board moderator, you must register an account on the discussion boards and have been posting for a number of months. The moderators watch people and they recommend them for the position of moderator. It is also possible that a person recommend himself or herself. But, in order to become a Moderator you must demonstrate capability, wisdom, and commitment to the Lord.

The boards and chatroom are a place where unbelievers come and criticize Christianity. Therefore, the moderators must be well grounded in their faith and must exhibit a level of Christian maturity. This is not a job for someone who is bored and wants something to do. This is a ministry opportunity and those who consider doing it must first pray and ask the Lord if this would be something He would bless in their lives.
