Matthew Halsted

Matthew Halsted first became interested in writing for CARM because he wanted to help promote relevant discussion on things that pertain to Christian theology and apologetics. Matthew knows that, while there are many worldviews and religious belief systems in today's world, Christianity is ultimately what is true and right for all people everywhere. And his goal is to help an unbelieving world see and savor that truth.

Matthew holds degrees in both International Studies and Philosophy. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Biblical Studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Matthew is also a Student Minister within his local church.
