Shelley Ritter

Shelley began writing for CARM in July of 2009. She graduated in 2008 from Liberty University with a B.S. in Religion.  Her background includes work in youth ministry with teenage girls, counseling at a Crisis Pregnancy Center, and teaching religion classes at a private Christian school.

Shelley became a Christian in 1992.  She grew interested in women’s ministry early in college.  Her classes and independent reading increased her interest in biblical womanhood and the gender debate.  Her other passions include evangelism, women’s discipleship, apologetics, and modern day abolition.

She currently resides in the Charlotte, NC area and has recently become engaged!
