What did Jesus look like? There is no description of what Jesus looked like, let alone describe his hair color, in the gospels. But being Jewish in his dissent Jesus was most probably dark-haired. Unfortunately, there is a typical representation of Jesus as a blonde-haired, blue-eyed, surfer type person with a perfect complexion and a gentle appearance. But, this is not how the Jews of ancient Palestine appeared, and the Caucasian, blue-eyed, surfer Jesus is a fanciful fabrication.
Isaiah 53:2, “For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of parched ground. He has no stately form or majesty that we should look upon Him, nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him.
There is a vision of Jesus in Rev. 1:14-15 that says, “And His head and His hair were white like white wool, like snow; and His eyes were like a flame of fire; 15 and His feet were like burnished bronze, when it has been caused to glow in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of many waters.” Though this describes Jesus’ hair, we cannot say that this highly symbolic description actually depicts Jesus’ hair color. Otherwise, wouldn’t Jesus’ feet be the color of burnished bronze?
