Praise Report

As some of you know, my wife has Marfan syndrome, a connective tissue disorder that affects the entire body.  Because of this condition she is, basically, uninsurable.  Last month after she had a standard mammogram, a dark spot was discovered.  Yesterday she went in for another exam it turns out the dark spot is nothing to worry about, a common cyst.  In addition, she was given a grant by the medical center to cover the added cost of the more specialized test that was necessary to determine what that dark spot was.  So, we're praising God that everything has turned out okay.

Please remember to pray for my wife.  Marfan syndrome is not fun.  I could list several things that she is undergoing because of it but do not want to burden you.  There are, after all, so many who have legitimate needs in the body of Christ that I don't want to draw unnecessary attention to our plight.  But, should the Lord put it upon your heart pray for us, this Ministry, and my wife, we would greatly appreciate it.

Prayer Ministry

CARM does have a prayer Ministry.  If you are interested in joining us as we pray for others' needs, or if you have needs that you need pray for, please go to and sign up.

Goals for CARM

Please pray for this Ministry.  There are several things in the works, behind-the-scenes, that could strongly affect CARM is a Ministry.  Hopefully, we will have additional help here on site to enable me to be freed up to do more teaching, writing, research, etc.  There are several people who are very interested in working with CARM and we have some good ideas.

The goal is to do as much as possible for the presentation in defense of the gospel.  To this end, I hope to move into further audio teachings, PowerPoint presentations, flash presentations, and video presentations.  I've been entertaining the idea of developing a Sunday school curriculum for apologetics and basic Christian doctrine.  But, these of have to wait until after I finish my two books.

CARM desperately needs a staff.  Please pray.

What are they saying?

CARM is constantly getting e-mails of thanks and praise for the information and research that is available.  Here are a few the raw.

  • I have read much of your web site and I have read the criticisms of it as well.  My conclusion is that you are not in error, and that your opponents are.  May God strengthen and bless you and continue to arm you in your fight.  Chris

  • Blessings from a fellow believer! I have been absolutely blessed reading from! The truth that is spoken in love and humility resonates God's heart. I am researching for a theology paper concerning the Oneness movement, and have found your site most helpful. Unfortunately, I was unable to find an email address, but after searching the net, have found it. May our great and awesome God bless you thoroughly as you seek to honour Him with your words and actions. The enemy will want to attack because such Truth radiates from this site! But continue to press on in Christ, and speak His truth boldly, confidently, humbly, gently, and ABOVE ALL, in love. It is encouraging to read such a wonderful presentation of God's Word in all its truth from the Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry site! May God be glorified through this, and may it further His Kingdom! Zoe

From the Theological Dictionary
Apollinarianism was the heresy taught by Apollinaris the Younger, bishop of Laodicea in Syria about 361.  He taught that the Logos of God, which became the divine nature of Christ, took the place of the rational human soul of Jesus and that the body of Christ was a glorified form of human nature.  In other words, though Jesus was a man, He did not have a human mind but that the mind of Christ was solely divine.  Please see Heresies for more information.
