Why Support CARM?

Why should you consider supporting CARM financially and prayerfully? The simple answer is: to bring glory to God and help expand his kingdom. We are missionaries to the Internet, our central principals are: Defending the Faith. Reaching the Lost. Equipping the Saints. But, if you want more details, please consider this.

  • CARM is a nonprofit missionary organization so your donations are tax-deductible.
  • You pay where you're fed.
    • You don't eat at one place and pay somewhere else. If you get fed at CARM, it is fair to support us.
  • By supporting CARM, you are helping to reach thousands of people everyday.
    • CARM has reached more than 7.5 million people in the last year (Nov. 11-Nov. 12) and has been accessed in excess of 10.5 million times.
    • CARM averages about 23,000 New Visitors to the site daily.
    • CARM averages about 11,000 Return Visitors every day who want more info.
  • CARM produces a great deal of new information for free . . . and is continuing to do so.
  • CARM has a daily radio show that is also podcasted and downloaded for listeners over 20,000 times a month.
  • Costs
    • Because CARM is getting so busy, in order to keep up with the workload, we need helpers.
      • Matt Slick as Executive Director of CARM is paid.
      • We have several people who help answer emails. They are not paid.
      • Diane S. oversees the discussion boards, and volunteers working on editing and moderating. The discussion boards get a minimum of 3,000 posts a day. With more than 90 discussion boards and a lot of unbelievers, it requires several hours daily to answer emails, answer alerts, enforce the rules, and make the forums enjoyable for everyone. She also takes care of the podcasts. Diane is paid.
      • Aaron and Ken are tech support who help maintain the site, do updates to software, fix things, etc., invaluable help, paid depending on amount of work involved.
      • Annick and Linda do the office work assisting Matt, filling orders online and from P.O. Box. Both are paid employees.
      • Ryan Turner oversees the Spanish version of CARM, Carlos paid for (miapic.com). There are translators that are also paid.
      • Office Equipment, Software, Updates, printing costs, mailing, etc., all cost money.
      • We give stuff away for free (scholarships to the schools, printed material, DVD's, etc.,), and we need to cover that.
  • Projects we hope to implement
    • Produce PowerPoint Slides and Manuals for use in Churches and Bible Studies
    • Produce the Family Training Course, Islam Training Course, and others
    • Produce more videos
    • Expand to other radio stations
  • Other Languages
    • We have CARM being developed in Spanish at www.miapic.com.
    • We are also developing a Portugues, Turkish, and Russian sites, which not yet released.

So, is CARM worth it?
