RNA

RNA, ribonucleic acid, is a molecule formed from DNA. RNA is identical to DNA except that ribose is substituted for deoxyribose. RNA consists of the nucleotide bases adenine, guanine, cytosine, and uracil. In DNA, uracil is replaced by thymine. RNA is used in protein synthesis.
