In all my years of dealing with cults, unbelievers, and false religious systems, I’ve come to see how accurate the Bible is when it tells us that people are fallen, sinful, and in rebellion against God. In addition, the bible teaches us that things will only get worse as the culmination of biblical revelation draws near. Perhaps this is why I see the covid 19 pandemic as an opportunity for the liberal left to try and gain control of society and, inadvertently, move us to a one-world order.

Consider this. If the Covid 19 pandemic is so bad, why is the United States government opening up the borders to letting illegals come into our country – who are not vaccinated?  It makes no sense unless those promoting their illegal invasion are trying to gain control. After all, statistically, Hispanics vote Democrat. Perhaps that also explains why the government has been flying illegal aliens around America at night and releasing them into our country.

Mask Wearing

Also, mask-wearing is basically useless. Face shields are a waste of time when it comes to stoping the Covid 19 virus. Cloth masks are around 3% effective, and surgical masks are, on average are about 50% effective. Furthermore, if you touch a mask on the outside, it is contaminated and should be discarded. Otherwise, the masks can help spread viruses. But people don’t treat mask hygiene as they should. In addition, long-term mask-wearing becomes a breeding ground for germs because of the moisture factor repeated adjustment by touching. So why wear them?

In my opinion, masks have become control markers. A control marker is a visible sign of control. This is done in cults when the leadership requires dress codes, beards or no beards, scheduled attendance of meetings, etc. It is very easy to recognize how much our society is submitting to the government when people continue to wear masks – that science tells us is not effective in stopping the spread of covid. This is why I believe mask-wearing is a control marker.

Vaccine Passports Anyone?

“A vaccine passport is proof that you’ve tested negative for or been protected against certain infections. It can be digital, like a phone app, or physical, such as a small paper card. I understand the idea of protecting people with vaccines. After all, they save lives. However, requiring vaccine passports is an attack on our freedoms. It reminds me of the Nazis who required papers for travel, participating in society, and buying and selling. Like facemasks, vaccine passports can be a means of social control, conditioning, and forced submission.  That scares me.

Speaking of conditioning. Could a Vaccine Passport be used to prepare people to submit to increasing governmental control? The left is pushing state-funded education, free healthcare, guaranteed income, rights for illegals, vaccine passports, mask mandates, and more. The population is being conditioned to depend on the government. In the process, people gradually lose more and more rights under increased bureaucratic control and redistribution of wealth.

That makes me very nervous. And then there is the issue of submitting to temperature tests by putting a thermometer to our foreheads and wrists. This is reminiscent of something in Scripture.

Antichrist

Revelation 13:16-17, “And he [the antichrist] causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.”

Am I making too much of this? Perhaps. Perhaps not. Like I said at the beginning of this article, my pessimism is probably shading my views. But I can’t shake the feeling that history is being moved towards a one-world government, political control, the reduction of our freedoms, and the conditioning to submit to authoritarian rule.

And it is my opinion that the Covid pandemic is being used to accomplish all it.

Can we trust the officials?

I don’t know about you, but I don’t have confidence in our government’s ability to rule fairly and uphold our constitution. It is sliding towards the abyss of socialism. I don’t trust the governmental oligarchy that demands people get vaccinated or lose their jobs. I don’t trust them when they shut down churches, restaurants, theaters, and bankrupt countless businesses all for “our safety.” Then, to repeat myself, there’s the issue of how they open our borders and encourage illegals to flood into our country who are infected with Covid yet demand that we, the people, be vaccinated. It makes no sense.

Furthermore, I can’t trust the vocal and powerful few in the news media and in government who accuse people of racism when conservatives win elections, and constitutionally minded people resist the leftist’s socialist agenda. I can’t trust those who advocate defunding the police and accuse people of being white supremacists if they disagree. And, to make matters worse, those same politicians who let riots destroy numerous cities without punishing the guilty will support the incarceration of the January 6, Capitol trespassers – without due process. In my opinion, we cannot trust them.

Biblical Prophecy

The Bible has a great deal to say about our future. It speaks of the arrival of the antichrist and a one-world government. Here are just a few of the things predicted.

• Persecution of the faithful
  • “Matthew 24:9, “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.”
• Lawlessness increases and love grows cold
  • Matthew 24:12, “Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold.”
• Mocking of Jesus
  • 2 Peter 3:3–4, “now this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.”
  • Jude 17–19, “But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, 18 that they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” 19 These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.”
• Decay of marriage

• Enforcement of the mark of the beast
  • Revelation 13:17, “and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.”

Not good.

Conclusion

It seems to me that the government will continue to use the Covid pandemic, maks wearing, mandatory vaccinations, vaccination passports, the threat of losing your job, etc., to control people and condition them for further submission to the will of the state. I fear that our country, and the world, are sliding towards a Big Brother dystopia.

Like I said, pessimistic.

So what do we do as Christians? We are to pray that God’s will be done in this travesty of justice and social control implementation. We need to ask the Lord to use us to spread the gospel during this time of social decay. Remember, Christianity flourishes under persecution – and persecution will continue to come to the faithful in the United States and in the rest of the world.
