Is natural immunity better than the covid vaccines?

by | Nov 10, 2021 | Covid, Secular Issues

There’s a lot of information about the Covid vaccines. Some praise their efficiency, while others say they have some hidden dangers and that vaccines are not necessary if you have natural immunity. It is this latter case that we are concerned about here. Are Covid vaccines better than natural immunity or is the opposite true?Covid 19 natural immunity vaccine

The debate continues. What I’ve done here is quoted from both sides of the argument. Some say Covid vaccines are better than natural immunity while others say that natural immunity is better than the Covid vaccines.

One of the problems that we face is who to believe. We are getting contradictory information from different sources. As I’ve said in other articles, the inconsistency of our government regarding the Covid vaccines and infection rates has caused countless people to doubt the need for any vaccines. After all, there are mandates coming down from the governmental oligarchy telling us to get vaccinated. They say there is a pandemic of the unvaccinated (which is not true). They say it is our patriotic duty to be vaccinated.

Really? If vaccinations are necessary, why does the government allow and encourage illegal aliens to flood our country without getting vaccinated? These kinds of questions are not answered by the government and it causes many of us to doubt the validity of its vaccine mandates.

Nevertheless, I present the following information that is documented from both sides. It’s up to you to make your own decisions.

(Disclaimer about the covid 19 research)

Covid vaccines are better than natural immunity

  1. Twice as likely to get infected again with Covid if you do not get vaccinated
    • “In today’s MMWR, a study of COVID-19 infections in Kentucky among people who were previously infected with SAR-CoV-2 shows that unvaccinated individuals are more than twice as likely to be reinfected with COVID-19 than those who were fully vaccinated after initially contracting the virus.”  (https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2021/s0806-vaccination-protection.html, 8/6/2021).
    • “The vaccines still lower your risks. We have evidence showing that if you’ve been naturally infected with COVID-19 and you aren’t vaccinated, your risk of getting reinfected with symptomatic disease is about 2.5–fold higher…I want people to understand that vaccination-induced immunity, like natural immunity, doesn’t necessarily protect you from getting infected with COVID-19. The purpose of vaccinations is to prevent severe illness and death.” (https://hub.jhu.edu/2021/09/10/infection-from-covid-vs-vaccines, 9/10/2021).
  2. Five times better immunity with Pfizer vaccination
    • “A new study based on data from 187 hospitals in nine states found that mRNA vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna are about five times more effective than a previous infection at preventing hospitalization. Among those hospitalized between January and September with COVID-like symptoms, anyone with a previous infection who remained unvaccinated was 5.49 times more likely to test positive than someone fully vaccinated.” (https://healthnewshub.org/natural-immunity-vs-covid-19-vaccination-heres-a-measure-of-your-protection, 11/8/2021).
  3. The Covid vaccines are safe and prevent illness, hospitalization, and death
  4. Effectiveness of the Covid Vaccines about 8 months
  5. Natural immunity is not as strong as vaccine-induced immunity

Natural Immunity is better than Covid Vaccines

  1. Naturally immune unlikely to benefit from Covid vaccines
  2. Israeli study shows more breakthrough cases among vaccinated with Pfizer vaccine
    • This is from the Israeli study that “only used the Pfizer mRNA vaccine, so these results may not be applicable to other vaccine platforms.”…”Model 1 compared 16,215 people in both the vaccinated and natural immunity groups and found that cases in the vaccinated group (n=238, 1.5%) were 13 fold more likely to experience a breakthrough infection than the natural immunity group (n=19, 0.12%). The majority of the cases were symptomatic. There were very few hospitalizations in either group with only 8 in the vaccine arm and 1 in the natural immunity arm…Model 2 compared 46,035 people in both the vaccinated and natural immunity groups, and found that cases in the vaccinated group (n=640, 1.4%) were 6-fold more likely to experience a breakthrough infection than the natural immunity group (n=108, 0.23%). ” (https://ncrc.jhsph.edu/research/comparing-sars-cov-2-natural-immunity-to-vaccine-induced-immunity-reinfections-versus-breakthrough-infections, 8/25/2021)
  3. Natural Immunity confers longer lasting protection
    • “This study demonstrated that natural immunity confers longer lasting and stronger protection against infection, symptomatic disease, and hospitalization caused by the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2, compared to the BNT162b2 two-dose vaccine-induced immunity. Individuals who were both previously infected with SARS-CoV-2 and given a single dose of the vaccine gained additional protection against the Delta variant.” (https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.08.24.21262415v1.full.pdf, 8/24/2021)
  4. Natural Immunity is more broadly effective
    • “While a natural infection may induce maturation of antibodies with broader activity than a vaccine does—a natural infection can also kill you,” says Michel C. Nussenzweig, the Zanvil A. Cohn and Ralph M. Steinman professor and head of Rockefeller’s Laboratory of Molecular Immunology. “A vaccine won’t do that and, in fact, protects against the risk of serious illness or death from infection…There are several potential reasons that memory B cells produced by natural infection might be expected to outperform those produced by mRNA vaccines, the researchers say.”  (https://www.rockefeller.edu/news/30919-natural-infection-versus-vaccination-differences-in-covid-antibody-responses-emerge/, 8/24/2021).
  5. John Hopkins Medicine professor Dr. Marty Makary natural immunity is better
    • “Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine professor Dr. Marty Makary appeared as a guest on Thursday’s edition of “Morning Wire,” a podcast hosted by The Daily Wire. “The data on natural immunity are now overwhelming,” Makary told the Morning Wire. “It turns out the hypothesis that our public health leaders had that vaccinated immunity is better and stronger than natural immunity was wrong. They got it backwards. And now we’ve got data from Israel showing that natural immunity is 27 times more effective than vaccinated immunity. And that supports 15 other studies.” (https://www.westernjournal.com/johns-hopkins-doc-says-natural-immunity-27-times-effective-vaccine, 10/8/2021).
