You also want to insist that Mormonism is not biblical.  Yet, just like you, we read and study the Christian Bible in great detail.  So, I really don’t understand your exclusive and prejudicial statements.  Please try to explain exactly what you mean!  You’re not making any sense!  Our biblical interpretation might be slightly different, but that seems to be the only difference.  Today that’s not uncommon among the many Christian sects.

Besides, who should decide what is Christian or biblical?  Personally, God has confirmed to me and millions of others that the LDS Church is both Christian and biblical!  The witness of God is always greater than the biased and prejudicial opinions of man.

Response:   When this Mormon says he accepts the Lord Jesus as his redeemer and savior, he is not acknowledging the true Jesus.  Instead, he is believing in the Mormon concept of Jesus.  There is a big difference between the LDS Jesus and the Jesus of the Bible.  The LDS Jesus is a created thing, the brother of the devil and all of us, has parents who are a god and goddess who were people on another planet, was married and atoned for sin in the Garden of Gestheme.  By contrast, the Jesus of the Bible is not a created thing, is not the brother of the devil, has no parents who were people on another planet, was not married, and atoned for our sins on the cross–not the Garden of Gethsemane.

The very fact that the Mormon Jesus is created and the Jesus of the Bible is not is proof that they are not the same.  You cannot be both created and not created at the same time.  Also, saying that Jesus atoned for sin in the Garden and not the cross denies the atoning work of Christ altogether.  Jesus bore our sins in His body on the cross–not in the Garden (1 Pet. 2:24).

Having the name of Jesus in the church has no bearing on whether or not Mormonism serves the true Christ.  Anyone can claim the name of Jesus for his church.  It doesn’t mean they are Christian, especially since they redefine who God and Jesus are.
