Amphibians

amphibiansAmphibians are cold-blooded vertebrates in the class of Amphibia. They can live in and out of water. The larvae of amphibians generally are born in water and possess gills by which they obtain oxygen from the water. They mature, and some are able to obtain oxygen from the water as well as the air. Examples of amphibians are frogs, toads, salamanders, etc.
