Anthropocentrism

Anthropocentrism

The word anthropocentrism means man-centered. It comes from two words–the Greek “anthropos” which means man and the Latin “centralis” which means central. Therefore, in theology, anthropocentrism is the doctrine that man is the center of all things and that he does not need God but is able by his own ability to understand and accomplish anything.
