Eunuch

Eunuch

A eunuch is a male who has been castrated, that is, had the testes removed. Eunuchs were often used as guards of harems. In Acts 8:27, a eunuch was “a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure.” Biblically, some people are born Eunuchs, and others are made Eunuchs (Matt. 19:12). They were forbidden to enter into sacred duty (Deut. 23:1).
