Property Dualism

Property Dualism

Property Dualism is the philosophical position stating that although there is only one kind of substance, the material, that there are two kinds of properties: physical and mental. Property Dualism teaches that the human mind is a property of the physical brain so that when the brain ceases to exist the mind also ceases to exist. Compare with Substance Dualism.
