There are many preachers and teachers within Christianity. A lot of them are excellent. However, the ones listed below are not. I’ve developed a table that compares some important theological categories among the various teachers. Because most people read articles on their phones, I cannot produce an exhaustive list of topics. But, the table will give you a birds-eye view of their positions.
In my experience examining biblical theology and comparing it to what people say, I discovered that many positive confession teachers who speak about God wanting you to be healthy and wealthy will also tickle people’s ears by promoting whatever aids a person’s self-esteem.
2 Timothy 4:3–4, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.“
Instead of focusing on the gospel, and the need to make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20), they often mix good theological truths with false teachings such as Jesus finishing the atonement in hell, or that women can be pastors, that Roman Catholicism is Christian. In some cases, some of these so-called teachers exalt people and call them little gods. Unfortunately, this self-exaltation feeds listeners’ sinful nature, and when these teachers use smooth speech and scripture out of context, the listener can be easily deceived. The result is spiritually dangerous.
Matthew 15:14, “Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”
