The Lincoln Project is a movement formed in 2019 that sought to prevent President Donald Trump’s re-election and defeat all republicans running in offices throughout the United States. It is very left-leaning, claims to be protecting democracy, 
and spins almost all information about conservatives, especially Trump, in a negative light.

So the Lincoln project’s stated goal from its own website is to work against Donald Trump and, of course, all who supported him.
Extreme Left Attitudes in the Lincoln Project
Regarding the January 6th, 2021 riot in Washington, D.C., the Lincoln Project is an example of extremist attitudes from the left combined with the sometimes misguided social justice movement. They ignore contrary evidence that doesn’t support their ideological talking points. So, to them, Trump purposely incited insurrection. Yet, evidence to the contrary exists.
The Washington Post “…the FBI had warned that extremists were preparing to come to Washington, attack Congress and engage in “war.” The report says the warning was issued internally by the FBI’s field office in Norfolk, Virginia, a day before the violent riot at the U.S. Capitol…The newspaper reported that the document detailed posts calling for violence, including that “Congress needs to hear glass breaking, doors being kicked in, and blood from their BLM and Antifa slave soldiers being spilled.”

Whether or not you approve of Trump is not the issue. Objectivity is important because objectivity is concomitant with discovering and disseminating the truth. But when the truth is ignored by anyone, the Lincoln Project included, for the sake of an agenda and counter-evidence, is dismissed, then this is the same thing as promoting propaganda.
The Demise of the Lincoln Project
