As a writer of theology and apologetics, reviewing books and movies is not exactly my style. So when you read them, you will notice that I am very direct and short in my comments. Most professional reviewers are extremely competent and can weave together flowery, clever statements that convey more than the mere words they’ve used. I enjoy reading them. However, I’m not good at that.  I like to get to the point, say it quickly and succinctly, and move on.

So, when you read these reviews, please consider their shortness and directness as a style that I have developed in my own approach to writing and research. I try and write efficiently without a lot of fluff that is so often present in articles where you have to read for a long time before you find what you’re looking for.  That honestly irritates me.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy my direct and succinct style that hopefully conveys just what you need along with my commentary.

Of the books, I can provide a Christian, theological analysis and recommend reading it or not. As far as movies go I will make comments about the extent of the foul language, use of the Lord’s name in vain, sexuality, horror, special effects, etc., that are pervasive and so many of today’s movies. My goal with these reviews is to provide you with enough information to decide whether or not you want to see them.
