• BIBLE (CORRECT): The 66 books of the Old and New Testaments make up the Bible and are the inerrant word of God. The Bible is the only body of inspired scripture and is the sole infallible rule of faith and practice for all Christian believers.
• Islam: The Quran is the perfect word of God and the only authoritative scripture for today. God sent down scriptures in the past (such as the Bible), but men have hopelessly altered, corrupted, and misinterpreted them. They have been surpassed and replaced by the final, perfect, eternal Word of God: The Quran. The Quran was dictated word for word to Muhammad by the Angel Gabriel.
• Jehovah’s Witnesses: The Bible is only true scripture, but can only be rightly interpreted by God’s chosen organization. One should not read it apart from Watchtower literature and the guidance of the governing body of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. The New World Translation, published by this organization, is the preferred translation.
• LDS – Mormonism:  The KJV Bible is the word of God, but only insofar as it has been translated correctly. The Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price are also the word of God. All of these together make up the scriptures.
• Roman Catholicism: The Bible is the word of God, but also contains the books of the Apocrypha. Scripture must be interpreted by the proper Roman Catholic authorities. Authoritative traditions of the church are also considered to be from God and carry equal authority with Scripture.
