A plant is a member of the kingdom known as Plantae and consists of organisms that produce their own food through photosynthesis, are typically non-mobile, do not have sensory organs (i.e., ears and eyes), brains, nor a central nervous system. Examples of plants would be grasses, trees, vines, etc.
