Christian theology is an interrelated relationship of various topics. Therefore as you go through these short videos, you will find occasional repetition of ideas. This is because individual truths of the Christian faith do not exist in isolation. For example, the value of Jesus’ sacrifice relates to His person as the God-man. Our justification relates to our sanctification, but both are based on Christ’s sacrifice. The idea of covenant flows through both the Old and New Testaments. There is a lot more like this.Β But that is to be expected. After all, the Scriptures come from the same God.Β So, as you learn, you’ll be blessed to see God’s revelation unfolding before you. Christian theology is interrelated.
Over the years that I’ve been teaching theology, debating it, defending it, etc. I’ve come to learn how integrated it all is. God’s word is a pleasure to study and a privilege to teach. Of course, I don’t claim to have all the answers. And, of course, you should check everything I say with Scripture. Nevertheless, it is amazing how God’s word has a common theme through all its pages, woven together with many interrelated topics. God has used many different people over hundreds of years to produce harmonious, true, deep, and revelatory Scripture. I hope you enjoy seeing God’s word develop in the vast mosaic of truth.
