Pictures of the Dome of the Rock, Mosque in Jerusalem

by | Nov 24, 2023 | Islam, World Religions

In March-April of 2023, I went on a trip to Israel. It was a great experience and the second time I’d been there. We went to Jerusalem. As you can see, I’m standing in front of the Dome of the Rock, a sacred mosque in Islam. Notice the three pictures. They are from far away and end with a closeup. What is with the third picture? What do you see?

Now, it appears to be a figure revealed when a slab of stone was cut, rendering two distinct flat pieces that they then put into the side of the mosque, the Dome of the Rock. If you look at the picture, you can see a face. Of course, it might be nothing more than pareidolia – seeing faces in various objects. But, as far as I’m concerned, if I were building a sacred building that represented my religion and found such a face in the stone, I would not put it up as part of a structure. The reason I wouldn’t do that is because it looks demonic. Now, of course, this is a subjective opinion. But I bring it up to see what you think.

This does not prove Islam is false. Such proofs are found within the Quran and how it contradicts the Bible. But, I find it interesting that the Muslims would let something like this stay in their edifice. It looks demonic, in my opinion, and the opinion of others I have talked to. I’m honestly puzzled.

What do you think?
